Last 2 of April, Enel SpA launched the international contest “Wind Design” that gives the opportunity to propose solutions to conceive, develop and implement tri-blade wind turbines with an innovative design, in compliance with technical regulations for the sector, and with the minimal landscape impact.
The contest – launched through Enel’s “Open Innovability” platform specifically set up to attract innovative ideas from outside the company - is open to university and doctoral students, architects, engineers, designers, research institutions, university, companies and start-ups.
Projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria: Design, technical and financial Feasibility, Innovation and sustainability.
Winners will get prizes (first, second and third classified); also, special prizes will be awarded to for other projects, qualified as the best projects in terms of Design, Technical and Economic Feasibility, and, needless to say, Innovation and Sustainability
